CENTRAL TO ROME'S TOURIST ATTRACTIONS

We are near to Repubblica station which is on the A line of the metro so you can access all the major sites like the Vatican within 15 minutes. We are a comfortable budget hotel well placed for shopping, exploring, eating and drinking - everything you could wish for.

Hotel Texas 2 star budget hotel is at number 47 Via Firenze. We are 280 metres from the Metro Repubblica, or 700 metres (10 mins walk) from Termini station where all buses and trains from the airport terminate and the city's two metro lines cross. From Termini train station take the main exit on Piazza dei Cinquecento and walk toward the obelisk directly ahead. Piazza della Repubblica is behind the obelisk with a fountain in the centre, from here bear left onto Via Nazionale and the second road on the right is Via Firenze.

FROM CIAMPINO AIRPORT (CIA)

Ciampino airport is 15 km East of the city centre. It is not serviced by trains, so BUS is your best option. A number of bus companies arrange transfers to Rome's central train station Termini including TERRAVISION and SITBUS. The journey time is around 40 minutes. Tickets can be bought online beforehand to avoid queues at the airport. Alternatively, you can take a White Taxi with a flat fare of 30 euros to anywhere in the centre.

FROM LEONARDO DA VINCI AIRPORT - FIUMICINO (FCO)

Fumicino airport is 30 km West of the city centre. It is serviced by trains and bus transfer. TRAINS run every 15-30 minutes from 06.23 to 23.23 at a cost of 14 euro. A number of BUS companies arrange transfers to Rome's central train station Termini including TERRAVISION and SITBUS. The journey time is around 55 minutes. Tickets can be bought online beforehand to avoid queues at the airport. Alternatively, you can take a White Taxi with a flat fare of 48 euros to anywhere in the centre.
